How We Help ?

Doing things differently has always been our mantra at DPS Kalinga. In our pursuit to ingrain the altruistic spirit in the soul of every “Dipsite”, “The Good Samaritan Foundation” was initiatedunder the aegis of VidyaJyoti Trust in 2011. The foundation works towards the upliftment and rehabilitation of those who are lesser fortunate than us. In essence, every child at DPS Kalinga who works for this cause becomes a “Good Samaritan” at heart who is an ambassador of joyful giving.

Since its inception, our students have been involved in many charitable activities like – visits to orphanages, old age homes, blind schools, and blood donation camps, go green campaigns to mention a few. We generate our funds by selling handmade cards, paper bags, diyas, wooden trays, paintings etc all made by our students and the Art Dept and also donations made directly to the foundation.
